Nice people with overpriced used cars! They only wanted to work with us if my sister didn’t trade in her car. Why would we want to do that when we don’t need two cars?

I bought a car from this location back when it was Thrifty. I recently inquired some information about my vehicle (bought in 2006, mind you) and the current staff has been more than kind to answer my questions. They have even followed up to check if I had any luck finding what I needed on my end. Polite, friendly. If I was still stationed in the area, I’d pay them a visit for my auto needs. I don’t say that about any dealership.

So we had previously bought a car from this dealership and the experience with Vic was professional and good. This time, wow, a complete180! I was looking to buy a car and also brought my stepson as he was looking. He ended up getting a decent deal, but with me, Vic was not the same! I picked the car I wanted, we agreed on the price and I wanted three things fixed; a broken headlight bulb, the AC charged and the tires replaced as there is no way they would pass inspection and I even did the penny test to show Vic that the tires were indeed deficient. Well, I found out that they sold it out from under me without even telling me they were doing that! The explanation was the owner could make more money wholesaling it, wow so much for customer service! Then it got ugly, Vic insisted I wasn’t being reasonable and said I got the car at a low price then claimed I was being unreasonable. Really? So passing inspection (headlight and tires) and a simple charging of the AC is over the top?? I ended up buying the same make and model from Rudolph and got a great deal. If Texas Grand continues on this path i’d stay away….FAR AWAY!
