The worst! Plain and simple! Husband was looking for a work truck and we wanted a starter car for our kid. We had the money to spend! As we started the negotiation process, we were talked down to and told that a 2008 Chevy Truck with 290,000 mile on it was worth $14,000.00 because new it would have been $40,000.00. REALLY!?!? Yeah 11 years and 290,000 miles ago!
Save yourself the time, headache, and money – go to TruWorth! 2011 Chevy Truck 146,000 miles $15,000.00 with a two year service agreement!
Oh and we got our kid a car from TruWorth too.

Purchased a car 6 months ago from owner and it already is needing a new transmission for the same price of the vehicle. Sad to say seems all cars are wrecked and trying to get something for nothing. It was for my 18 year old and it was her first car and it was a lemon.

These guys are great, right up until the point they have your money. Frankly, one star is too generous. I bought a truck and paid cash less than two weeks ago. Ten days later, it dies on my 50-mile commute to work. I take it to the mechanic – catastrophic engine failure caused by a broke timing chain. The dealer told me they had done thousands of dollars of work to the engine – taken it apart and replaced a lot of parts. They even gave me a list of what was replaced. The mechanic told me that, if they actually took the engine part and replaced the parts they said they did, the mechanic would have seen huge wear on the timing chain and would have had to replace it. Now, the dealer won’t take it back, and won’t lift a finger to help after they sold me a piece of garbage that never should have been on the lot to begin with. STAY AWAY FROM SIMS!!

Update: And now I see that the dealership has responded to me. Whether they treated the transaction as “wholesale” or not (which is never mentioned in my bill of sale), this vehicle NEVER should have been on the lot because it obviously wasn’t in a sell-able condition. Now, I’m out thousands of dollars and stuck with a piece of junk. The dealership doesn’t even have the character to apologize for selling me what they obviously knew to be a piece of garbage. They “empathize,” and I was told over the phone that they “empathize.” I’ve told everyone I know about this poor experience. Frankly, I was taken, and it won’t ever happen again. I’m going to do my best to inform people so it doesn’t happen to them either. Save yourself some time, some money, and a lot of stress, and STAY AWAY FROM SIMS!!

This is my last update in response to the dealer’s updated response. Yes, I spoke to the owner on the phone before posting this review. He told me that he was not obligated to do anything to help (even though they sold me a vehicle they obviously knew to have serious mechanical problems). He told me to go price used motors (why should I have to do that when they sold me a vehicle they obviously knew to have serious mechanical problems?). He told me he’d write me a check for “a couple hundred dollars,” and that he’d call me back. I never got a call. That’s why this review is posted.

Note: If the experience I’ve shared isn’t enough to deter you, look at how the dealership has responded publicly to my review. Would you want your situation to be handled this way by the dealer if you were in my position?
