My experience at Priority Toyota in Hampton is lacking. Buying my car from there was a hassle. The sales manager is very unaccommodating. I had more hopes for the service department which was good but now the “free” services I’m told I get for life are now limited and not free. I have been getting the same service for years and now I’m told it is no longer an option unless I pay extra. The Priority dealership in Chesapeake is MUCH BETTER all around. Sales and service. Absolutely no issues. I only go to the Hampton location because it is closer.

Priority Toyota service department is awesome! Been using them for years. And they give me free rides to work when my truck is in the shop for repairs. John, Devin, Jose and the rest of the crew do a great job! Thanks Priority for taking care of me. I appreciate it.

Visited Priority about 3 months ago for my regular oil and filter change. I also mentioned to them that I had a slow leak in my tire that I had to put air in about every 4 weeks. They said they would check it out as well and let me know. Well, they came to the conclusion that it was the “weather” making me have to put air in it every so often… Today I am at Priority Toyota in Chesapeake, still dealing with the same issue. I mentioned it to them and they said they would check it out.. Come to find out, I’ve been riding around with a nail in my tire for the last few months. They’re replacing it for me now. Needless to say, be careful with the Hampton location. They may over look something which is vital to your safety!!! I do want to mention that the employees were great and service was fast, but I would definitely choose Chesapeake over Hampton in a heartbeat at this point.

I would like to make this clear. This is atypical treatment from Priority but warrants me not to return. Until now I have been very pleased. Yesterday, the attendant/employee that helps with incoming vehicles to be dropped off for car care was rude and flippant. He rubbed me the wrong way and set my mood. We had a clash and as he walked away, he mumbled a couple of words and then B_ _ _ _ H. I came back at him and then he became confrontational. I walked into the adjoining room and he charged after me. The professionals behind the counter told him “that’s enough” and instructed him to go out to the garage. I really did not wish to be there but sat in the lounge waiting for my ride. Kudos to the Gentleman/Customer who was there at the same time and observing the scene. He approached me and informed me that he too had an negative experience with the attendant. He stated that he had never had anyone talk down to him like that since he was a kid. He also complained to the Service Manager and advised me to do as well which I did. I expressed my concerns with the manager and any possible tampering with my car while on Priority’s property. He assured me my car would be OK. My grief with Priority is that I believe the manager should have called me later to tell me he had handled the situation and apologize for his employees lack of constraint. When I returned to pick my vehicle up there was no comment or apology as well. I believe Priority should vet their prospective employees better and even consider a Customer Service Training Course. My job is in CC and I go out of the way to make our customers feel as if they are number one in our book. I also start the day with a smile on my face and a good attitude whether I feel like it or not. I love my job and the people that come to us. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself.

Always helpful and timely. Wait time for service is usually short and if there is a longer than expected wait time, someone will come to you to explain the delay. Excellent service.
