      Eric is hands down the best salesman I’ve ever worked with! I had a very difficult credit situation to work with and he did everything in his power to get me in a car that was affordable, unlike most dealerships that we’re quoting me $400+ a month!       Long story short: they ran my credit TWELVE times to try to force a situation with my current vehicle lease.

      About a year ago, I got into a 3 year lease for my 2018 Ford Escape. We went with a low mileage plan and due to unforeseen circumstances and a move to Michigan, I was already way over my yearly mileage plan after 11 months. I called to discuss options to see if maybe I could adjust my payment/plan to increase my mileage the next two years of my lease so I would not end up paying thousands of dollars out of pocket in two more years when I went to terminate my lease. I explained my situation and stated I was not looking to get into another bad situation to make up for my current one (7year loan or high interest with a new car etc).

      I was told that I would be able to buy out my lease with $0 money down and similar monthly payments and it was the best option to do so sooner rather than later. I expressed my concern with having my credit ran due to having 5 inquiries after closing on a house 6 months prior and that I didn’t want to push it if I was unlikely to get approval due to my credit score and current situation. I was reassured that it would be an easy process and they could run it real quick and have the exact payment it would be a month after I bought the car out in five minutes.

      An hour later I received a text message from the salesman stating that I would need a significant amount of a down payment in order to move forward with what we discussed and I explained that wasn’t an option for me right now. He said he would look into some other options and then tried to sell me on a 2019 Ford Escape with extras including four wheel drive, a sunroof, and navigation for an extra $100 a month (not including insurance increase). I had to ask to find out that it would be a 7 year loan at 8% interest rate and I explained AGAIN that I was not interested in trading one bad situation for another.

      I was told my only other option was to continue with my lease until I was closer to the total mileage and then reevaluate at that time.

      I started receiving letter after letter in the mail from various banks/credit unions informing me of credit line rejections. I logged into my account to find out they had run my credit 12 TIMES, including inquiries regarding the new 2019 Ford Escape (an option I never expressed interest in and never gave permission to have my credit ran for).

      I went from 5 inquiries on my credit report to 14 and then another 3 hard inquiries through a different credit score all from this dealership. I called to express my frustration and to ask how to have all those inquiries removed because I did not give them permission to run my credit like that.

      The executive manager explained that they are “more aggressive” when they feel confident they can get someone into a car that they really want so apparently they believe that’s an appropriate/moral sales technique. I was told they would look into having those inquiries removed and would call me back that evening and I haven’t heard from them since (3 days later).

      I hate to sound like a broken record but this place truly only cares about the money they’re making off you and do not have your best interest in mind.

      I’ve already discussed the issue with Ford and will go through another dealership to figure out my lease. In the meantime, I will have to submit to have those inquiries removed from my credit report through all twelve financial institutions.

      Do yourself a favor and find a place that cares about your concerns, actually listens to your needs, and doesn’t try to take advantage of you in a way that hurts you down the line.

      Troy was one of the best salesman I have ever dealt with. He was honest and upfront and treated myself and my family with a lot of respect. Troy helped us find the best deal available for the car we were looking for.

      I am getting my car fixed after an accident and feel and hope that it will be fine. I asked for a loaner for just Christmas eve and Christmas to see my family. After speaking to two managers they were checking and would call me back. So disappointed they could of not taken the time to call me back so I could try to make plans with my family. Promised to call me but no calls even after another message. They could of said no but not calling at all and leaving for their holidays is a disappointment and lack of care for their customers
      I guess I was not a select case for the loaner but a call would of been nice to help. My small Lincoln and thousands of dollars repair did not rate for a customer to be called back. Decided to check this morning and you are closed to be with your families. A no would of been ok but no call is not good manners. I missed the opportunity to get to the car rental or a ride for Christmas eve. Missed my family and could of made plans but you sounded so honest when you said let me check on this and I will call you back.

      Troy was my sales person and I have a very tight schedule. He offered to bring the car out to my house just so my wife could see it and drive it! Absolutely professionalism and great experience for my wife and I! Top notch Salesmen with no pressure to buy!
